16 January 2019, Addis Abeba : The Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat concluded an official working visit to the United Arab Emirates from 15 - 16January 2019.
During the visit, Chairperson Faki signed a memorandum of understanding for political, economic and social consultations with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.
The Chairperson also signed the participation agreement regarding the participation of the AU at the 2020 World Expo with HE Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General, Expo 2020 Dubai.
